Our Delicious Story​

Our founder wanted to be a chef when he grew up. He worked in many kitchens & restaurants in the DFW area and trained under several amazing chefs. However, instead of continuing to work in the food business, he went into technology and spent 28 years bringing websites and online applications to life. Now he has come back to realize his childhood dreams.

In March of 2024, Macon Ranch Cuisine & Catering was born.

With several iterations in menu, we have come to serve the best burgers and chicken sandwiches in East Texas. It was logical that we chose burgers to serve since Athens, TX is the home of the hamburger. We are excited about this year’s Uncle Fletchers Hamburger Cookoff which we will be entering in September.

In Athens, TX there is a haunted bridge where you can hear the escaped monkeys from a circus train accident many decades ago.
Smash patty grilled in A1 sauce, topped with pepperjack cheese and grilled jalapenos and red onions. Served on Texas Toast.
